Polcoat Resurfacer is a water-based, acrylic binder, supported with filler and applied by mixing with silica sand, used to increase the adherence of the upper layers on concrete or asphalt floors, to close pores and to obtain a flat floor.

When Polcoat Resurfacer is mixed with 30-60% sand and 20% -40% water, the theoretical coverage area is 400-750 gr / m2.
These rates vary according to the surface of the asphalt and the application temperature.

 

Application:

Surface Preparation

The surface on which Polcoat Resurfacer will be applied must be free from dust, dirt and oil.
There should be no water on the surface.
The floor where Polcoat Resurfacer will be applied must have a minimum temperature of 10 ° C and a maximum temperature of 35 ° C.
It is necessary to wait a minimum of 14 days for new asphalt surfaces and a minimum of 22 days for new concrete surfaces for application.
Surface repair is applied to the surface with a mixture of pure acrylic, cement and sand for hollow areas where water accumulates on both floors and areas at low elevations.
Polcoat Resurfacer can be applied 1 day after the repair.
Application of Polcoat Resurfacer is recommended after epoxy coating on the concrete surface.

Application Procedure

Polcoat Resurfacer is mixed with water and sand and applied with a squeegee or squeegee.
