PRESS BINDER

The material is an MDI-based prepolymer and does not contain solvents. It is formulated for flexible applications and cures in molds with moisture, pressure and heat.

It is used in applications such as sports floors and children’s playgrounds, and in the production of rubber tiles.

Application:

The material should be used as supplied and mixed with dry / clean rubber granules. The recommended amount of binder in the mixture is 5% by weight of the rubber granules.
Binder and granules should be mechanically mixed in a clean and dry container until all granules are homogeneously wet. The mixture is then transferred to a mold heated to 150 ° C. Depending on the thickness and type of rubber granules, molding conditions can be changed. Usually the mixture is heated under a pressure of 1000-1500 psi for about 5-15 minutes.
