Application:

Surface Preparation

The floor must be clean, dry, free from oil and dust and repaired.

Method of Application

Primer is first applied with a roller to the surface that is cleaned of all kinds of dirt and dust. The coating to be created with the primer retains the moisture coming from the floor. Thus, swelling that may occur on the ground is prevented. After complete drying, acrylic resurfacer mixed with 25-40% water and 50-60% silica sand is applied. Resurfacer is used to fill gaps on the surface and to create a smooth surface. Polcoat acrylic top coat is mixed with 50-60% sand and 30% water for the first coat, and the second coat is applied with 10-20% sand and 5-10% water with a squeegee or a 60 cm wide squeegee. The amount of water required may vary depending on the temperature. Before the application, the field lines should be determined with paper tape. Polcoat acrylic line paint is prepared by mixing with 30% water. Acrylic line paint is mixed with water until it reaches a slightly dark but easily flowing consistency with an electric drill and applied with a roller.

Application Conditions

Acrylic materials should be used at a temperature of 10-35 ° C. Otherwise, early drying or freezing problems may occur during application. Water, sand and paint mixtures should be mixed very well homogeneously. Mixing should be repeated each time before applying to prevent sand settling.
